Short film shared to warn young people of image sharing dangers

Captured, a short film produced by the Artz Centre in Skelmersdale, focusses on the dangers of sharing images online. Funded by the Police and Crime Commissioner for Lancashire and West Lancashire Community Safety Partnership, the film was produced to be shown in local schools and colleges to support teachers and other professionals to explore image sharing and possible consequences.

Special Constables working to keep Lancashire safe during Covid-19 pandemic

Lancashire’s Police and Crime Commissioner Clive Grunshaw has praised the county’s Special Constables who have continued to give up their time during the coronavirus lockdown, to help make Lancashire a safer place, with many working extra hours and some volunteering the equivalent of a full time officer.

April marks the third anniversary of Lancashire Victim Services’ (LVS) multi-crime hubs. Support continues to be available during the pandemic and LVS are committed to ensuring that help can be accessed by anyone affected by crime in Lancashire.
